About the Author...

Jeff Blum has been focusing on the MBA degree and management issues in general since early 2000 when he founded MBA Depot, a free resource for MBAs, managers and school administrators.

Jeff is a graduate of the MBA program at the University of Texas at Austin and has a diverse set of career experiences. He began his career working for a Fortune 50 company and has since extended his area of expertise to the field of entrepreneurship, starting and/or working with a half dozen new businesses. He also spent one year working in Japan and has a strong interest in international business, culture and language. Despite his busy schedule, he occasionally takes on short-term management consulting projects.

Jeff did his undergraduate work in Electrical Engineering and Political Science at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, where he graduated with high honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi. He currently resides in the great city of Austin, Texas.
